The most successful homes are shaped by decisions that consider architecture, interiors, and the experience of living as a cohesive whole.
At Evolution Design Group, the Design Intelligence Review™ is an internal review process built into our comprehensive design engagements.
Guided by our Living Home Framework™, it brings together Spatial Intelligence, Sensory Intelligence, and Material Intelligence to inform the development of your home from the earliest floor plans through the final construction drawings.
Rather than treating these considerations as a separate assessment, we incorporate them into the planning, detailing, and material decisions that shape the finished residence.
The Design Intelligence Review™ works in tandem with architectural development and interior space planning.
As floor plans evolve, we evaluate the relationships between rooms, circulation, privacy, natural light, and the architectural features that contribute to the home’s character.
As interior design progresses, we consider how lighting, acoustics, color, texture, and material selections influence the experience of each space.
These considerations are incorporated into the design process as decisions are made, allowing architecture and interiors to develop together rather than as separate disciplines.
The Design Intelligence Review™ is not a separate report or additional phase of work.
Its findings are incorporated into the schematic design process, interior space planning, material specifications, and construction documents as appropriate to the project’s scope.
This integrated approach helps us identify opportunities early, coordinate decisions across disciplines, and maintain a consistent design direction as the project develops.
Because architecture and interiors are reviewed together throughout design, potential conflicts are identified while they are still simple to resolve, such as a window that interrupts a furniture wall, lighting that does not align with the ceiling plan, or a material that is not suited to how a room will be used.
Each decision is refined in the context of the whole home, so the design you approve in early planning is the same design that carries through the construction documents and into the finished residence.
